While studying film at the Art Centre College of Design, Pasadena, California, in 1984, Simon made his first documentary ‘Shiva’s Disciple’s’, narrated by Sir Richard Attenborough for the BBC series ‘The World About Us’ and The National Geographic Television ‘Explorer’ series. He went on to make numerous documentaries for international networks including the BBC, Channel 4 UK, TBS USA and TVNZ.

Simon currently makes feature documentaries for theatrical release. His 2018 feature documentary ‘STOP THE BOATS’ was screened in cinemas across Australia.  The film has won several international best feature documentary awards and nominations. BEHROUZ is Simon’s current feature documentary.
